Have you ever walked down the road, or driven to a place, or even down the street, or perhaps, visit a place and see a family struggling it out with their disabled female child, or member of the family, and you instantly wonder how much effort the family actually puts in, to ensure that their lives (theirs, and that of the child in question) are safely.
For those who don’t have a firsthand experience, let me explain it to you. In countries without the help of the government, as in, no wellfare, no universal credit, countries like Ghana, like Nigeria, the families are 100% responsible for their disabled family member.
They are responsible for the physical, mental, financial and personal care of theit family members.
People quit their jobs, and even forget about starting their careers, because they have a disabled family member. And since the government could care less what goes on in the life of these people, the family will have to go to work to make some money and cater to their family member.
For those people who have a good government, and they are entitled to some financial assistance from government, they have their family member repsonsible for them, then the heathcare personnel who show up every once in a while to assist.
So, having this level of inconvenience already on families with disabled females, and when they step out, a human being abuses their loved ones sexually?
While you feel pity and empathy. Someone somewhere is feeling something entirely different. Families that have these young girls go through alot, and someone somewhere is very comfortable to worsen their situation. who have underlying condition.
In the current world, people have all kinds of options for whatever they tilt to, when it comes to their sexual preferences. How then does someone assume it is okay to have any other kind of feeling, but pity?
You always say that when you see people dressed and walking done the street, don’t just assume they are so responsible. People do alot of unthinkable things when they think that they public eyes are not on them. The moment a public eye is on them, then they automatically become “sorry”.
How can a full grown man feel sexually attracted to a disabled female who can not even consent, agree or realise what has or is being done?
I was going through instagram a few weeks ago, and came across a disabled Nigerian girl who was taken advantage of, is now pregnant and crying herself to sleep. Look, the girl in question crawls on the dirty ground. It turns out that the people claim not to know who had done it. It was written all over their faces, that they knew more than they were revealing. This yojng lady crawled on the floor, she walked on her knees. And the fact that she didnt own a wheelchair, because they couldn’t afford a normal three square meal,talk more of a wheel chair, made it impossible for them to help her.
They lived in the tiny apartment with the most inaccessible entrance. It was as if they deliberately made the door entrance super difficult. It was difficult for a petson without mobility issue, talk more of a disanled person.
When this young girl moved, she has clothes smaller than her actual size of clothes, which implied that she had clothes from when she was younger.
The clothes were small, and hung above her waist, and that meant that her mother had to get her shorts to wear underneath. This simple picture was an inappropriate conclusion that was caused by a collective factors, which led to her being vulnerable and a target.
The moment I saw the video of this young girl, i instantly know that if ever an investigation was done, there would be so much secrets revealed about that whole livimg situation, from the helpless mother of the young girl, to the men in her immediate environment. There wer signs of a deliberate attempt to cover up a few things, and that is not exactly safe for the girl.
For a girl who could express herself, she said way less, and cried alot more. She knew the danger of revealing too much to the temporary help that they had.
The young girl in question, can actually express herself to an extent. The lady ssid she didnt know who it was, but there were weird signs that made me suspect that this was being manipulated. So to safe themselves in the rural area, they decided to say they didn’t know who did it.
It was a horrible video when i watched it, to be honest. After that, i went on instagram, only to see that this yiung girl wasn’t the only victim. So families with disabled females are very much aware of their little defenseless girl, is a.potential target for some sick thought of someone somewhere? Half the time, the person is a well known individual who knows that girl and her family.
These families actually physically protect the disabled family to a great extent, but since they understand the extent of the evil in the land, so they backup their protection with the birth control pills.
Mind you, these people are already on some sort of medications, which they need because of their underlting health conditions, and they have to be forced to add one more medication to the cocktail they already pushdown daily, because of the evil in the world.
The sad part is that if these people are not as evil and horrible, they are pretend not to be, why not come out openly to declare your feelings for the ladies or men, and legally marry them.
But instead you wait until everyone who is capable of protecying her, is engaged, out, or busy, before you walk back in, to sexually abuse a disabled person.
This is because you would rather have access to the innocent female when she is all defenseless and helpless. Look at the stuff people do, and when karma comes from whereever they created it, and comes for them, people will feel for them.
The disgusting aspect, is that some times, the abuse comes from the direct familiy members. While the family is scared of the enemies outside, theyoverlook the possibilities of the enemy within.
Conclusion
Whenever you see someone or a family member who is caring their female family who is a disabled female, please put yourself in their shoes, and realise that they look after this person 24hours, cleaning, feeding,
bathing and dressing this person, looking fter them every minute of everyday. While you feel pity for them, a feeling which I hope you feeling that for them, and nothing else.
So the bexy tkme you see anyone of them, i hope you get understanding, knowing what it entails, being in their shoes.
Knowing that after all they have been through, and all they go through, on daily basis, will be made worse, by a person who is evil enough to decide to be bad, and hurt a disabled person.
I dont know why this is this bad to me, maybe because I didn’t know that this was the fate of family with disabled females. This guys don’t get to quit, theh don’t get to run away. This led this caring life for life, and even get to shut down some of their live aspects, just to be there for their diabled females.
I didn’t think that people were willing to make life worse for them. It just hurts to imagjne this life. They never chose it, and someone freely gets to worsen it, and half the time, they get away with it. Please make this stop.
