UK Government uses new policy to curb immigrants’ divorce
Thile UK Government has sent out the research team for some proper investigation on what transpires between the legal immigrant couples, that show up at the door steps of the United Kingdom, claiming to be legally married, or partners.
The obvious feedback that the government received, was that people clme together for the sake of visas, to claim all kinds of things, and that includes being a couple.
The United Kingdom government found out that all sorts of agreements go down, for people to show up as couples, ans after the agreement expires, they divorce and go their separate ways.
But if only this was as easy as I make it seem. Many people get legitimately married before moving to the UK, some with kids, and others without kids. They and their partner and nuclear family relocate to the UK.
For the men in Africa, especially Nigeria, who are used to being served, being worshipped and being catered to, by their wives, they show up and somehow, expect their wives to cook, clean, go to work, look afte the kids, the house and them, the husband.
It usually takes these Nigerian men a while to adapt to the chnage, the change that everyone will have to play their part, because back home, while these men are used to only being financially responsible in their homes,
while the women do everything else, the men get a rude awakening when they show up in the UK, because the women realise that they actually can’t do it all by themselves, while their men lied their best lives.
Some men dont wait to be asked, because when they see the women struggling, a gentle and normal man will step up, but the ones who wait to be asked,
and still refuse to assist, are always the ones whose marriage stand on a shakey ground, because that insensitive behaviour will cause the woman to take a decision, rather than die with excess chores.
In this decision, some women consider divorce from the man child. While this is only one case scenario, some other cases come when the men say the women have become untamed,
simply because they relocated to a civilised society, where women’s rights are recognised and respected, so the women decide to exercise there rights.
It angers the men, and this leads to divorce as well. The other cases would be the weird marriage arrangements that get dissolved few months into the UK.
The Government has been dragged into all of these cases, because when a family or couple on a visa decide to part ways, they have to involve the home office and seek some sort of separation.
The government has taken a stand against all kinds of separations, from the legitimate marriage, to the shame ones, everyone is being dealt with by the government, using just one policy.
This is not surprising, because at some point, someone has to put a stop to the weirdness. So now the government has decided that, if for any reason you come into the UK with your partner, and you guys decide to separate, then you all will return to your home country and separate there.
This to me, is a smart decision, because in some cases, a man being the main applicant, might decide that he no longer wants his wife as his dependant,
which leaves her stranded, government has to care for this dependent until they find another visa, or find their footing.
This may come a surprise, but the simple misunderstanding of couples might end up costing the UK Government some money,
from caring for peole whom government has no business caring for, down to upholding the fundamental human right of the individuals involved.
From a wife and her kids taken off the visa. or a man whose wife has taken off the visa, and is now stranded.
It is time and money consuming to have to attend to these cases, and inheriting the care of the UK residents who government shouldn’t have any concerns with their care.
Couple decide they are too good to be with their partner when they leave the four walls of their kindred, they can’t face their families,and the family of their husband,
so when they step out of the confines of their country, they then try out things, some things are necessary others are completely irrevant.
For example, one lady moved to the UK with her husband from Nigeria, and when she came, she decided she didn’t want her husband anymore, as she is now attracted to white men.
Now imagine, you planned a life with a woman like this, who was relocated to a country by her husband, only to arrive and decide she was no longer willing to be remain married to her husband, but was then attracted to white men.
Conclusion
Finally, that decision of the government to fix this long string of material issue in the country, with just a policy.
Now people will think twice before letting their ego make the decision for them. You get a bigger picture of your life, when anger and sense of self take over you.
Now with the government making this making this policy, angry couples will have to put aside their anger and resentment, and actually talk things through, knowingyhag this is beyond them both. This is a good decision if I do say so myself.
