UK Christians Call out Tesco For Boycotting Christmas
I was just scrolling through social media, when I came across not, not two, but three different British residents, complaining of the outright, deliberate act to take off the world ‘Christmas’, from the one and only tree that is made for the christmas season.

Even though i am not in full support of making the season about trees, because that takes away the seriousness, messes with the significance of the season.

A tree was attached to the season, making the entire season, about putting gifts under the trees, also putting the cookies out for Santa, and carrots for his reindeers. The accommodating Christians accepted this slow but signifcant changes, and carried on like nothing happened.

Then they brought in the nut cracker, making the seakms aboit being naughter and nice, making it about the gifts that come to children who have been lying about being nice all year long.

Still the Christians conitnued with it. They even made it about the buys, the purchases, the reduced price of products.

Then they made it about the meals, a meal that is commonly eaten in the season, a meal known to bring a reminder, or help usher in the season. All kinds of weird things were brought in, as the reason for the season, and that it helped to usher in the season.

Now then after do many years of accepting all of this bunch of extras, bunch of add-ons, bunch of reasons why Christmas comes around. We notice them, acknowledge them, snd just carry on with the promotion of the actual reason for the season.

Tell me why it is still a bother to people who feel like Christmas takes everything from them, Christmas has too majy things accrued to it, do they are out to take it back.

The ordinary guy rant on Instagram, called out Tesco, saying ” Do apparently, Christmas is chancelled. CHRISTMAS has been cancrlled by Tesco atleast.

Have you seen the convoluted twisting and turning that Tesco are going through in their supermarket, to avoid using the wor ‘Christmas’. Why has Christmad been banned? Why is the word ‘Christmas’ been banned by Tesco? So they are selling artificial trees, you knoe the things you put tour baubles in, your tinsel and everything else on?

But they are calling them, ‘Ever green trees’. Since when has anyone ever gone, and says I have gone to the shops, I need to buy ever green tree? Ever, nobody does.

They are Christmas trees, everyone knows what they are, evrryone knoe the colout of them, everyone knows the shape of them, and everyone know you get then off, Christmas. But no,no,no,no, Tesco are selling in boxes, and calling them ever green trees.

But that is not the end of it. Christmas cake, you know the white iced fruit cake with holly and stuff on it, they are selling them. They are selling them with the holly on it, with the holly on it in terms of decoration, and they are not called Christmas cakes, instead they are called Christmas Crepes, they are called top iced fruit cakes. What is going on? Why? Why change it, why do away with it? Why are you trying to satisfy? What’s the marketing team doing?

What is the buying team? These things get planned, quite a long way in advance, probably this time last year, they were planning what was going to be in the shops this year.

So who came up the remarkable, brilliant idea of saying “No,no,no we don’t need them to call them Christmas trees again. That’s not what people are looking for, let us call them ever green trees. They are fake, they are plastic, ofcourse they are bloody ever green.

They’re Christmas trees, snd you can buy iced fruit cakes all throughout the year. So why is it a top iced fruit cake? It is not, it is a Christmas cake. What are you doing? What are you doing? Who are you trying to please? Who are you trying to satisfy? What are you afraid of, who are you afraid of upsetting?

There are genuinely people in this Country, that get offended by the term ‘Christmas tree’, or get offended by the term ‘Christmas crack cake?’ Cos if there there are, I have some advice. Leave the Country. Nobody is interested in you. Nobody cares about your opinions, nobody wants to talk to you, nobody cares what you think. Tesco, Absolutely shameful.”

Another UK resident, who goes by the name @adventureoftheswan also called out the brand, this time, with a clear evidence. With a “Happy Evergreen, Everyone” caption, he said:

“What does Christmas look like in the UK in 2025? Have a look at what Tesco is selling this year, and let me know if you are gotten be putting up one of this in your home. Oh yeah we got some nice 6.5ft luxury evergreen tree.

Evergreen tree, and not Christmas tree, because it might offend someone. Quick guys, hurry down to tesco to get tour evergreen tree, and hopefully, father evergreen will turn up in the chimney, so, they/them evergreen, my bad. Now in all seriousness, what the F**k are we doing? Why are we not allowed to use the term christmas?

Is it because it has the term “Christ” in it? I see how so many people are actually fearful of Christianity, because it is powerful, and it has worked for thousands of years? I mean, really, like what else could be the plan. Why ate they no called Christmas trees? In Britian where we have always celebrated Christmas, snd our values and our laws, and everything lse that we have built around, have been based around Christian values? We do not need to be religious to realise that this is an attack on our British believe, our Christian believe, and our values.

What the f**k is going on? Why are we fanning about, here, there and everywhere, with these communities that might be offended with the way British people live. Enough is Enough. If you don’t like it, sling your hook. I am just fed up with having to watch the circle of play. Getting rid of words like ‘Christmas’, getting rid of words like ‘Man’ and the weird communities that don’t know whether they are man or woman, but like, enough is enough.

We celebrate Christmas here, we like the way things are, we accept everybody here, but stop.removing our values, and changing our way of life. You come here, we will respect you, but you have to respect the British values, which are Christian. We celebrate Christmas and not evergreen. What thr f**k Tesco, you can sholve your evergreen up your Ass.
Conclusion

Conspiracy theory is not perculiar to only one person. Choosing to call the Christmas tree, an evergreen tree, snd expecting yet again, that Christians would look awag and still buy the trees, when we simply are the market target for it, is ridiculous. How Tesco choses to change the name of the Christmas tree, and still wanting us to still love and cherish the tree, the same way we love our Christmas trees, is yet again, ridiculous.

Since they made this decision without fear or favour, then Christians should also boycot then without fear and favour, since we have deliberately been targeted by Tescos decisions. When considerations are made in a Christian country, Christians are always the least comsidered, since we get along with everyone and everything, since we expected to keep spreading our arms in accommodation.

Since we are expected to love our neighbours as ourselves, while the neighbour finds the easiest way to take us down. How about we pay Tescos back in their own coin and let them buy and enjoy their evergreen trees all by themselves.

If we the direct users of the christmas trees, were not considered in the unneccessary renaming of the tree, then the people they aim to please, should be ready to buy the said trees, while Christians turn it down. You have got to be kidding me, Tesco.
