The UK WFH Scam Ravaging Families
In the wake of social media monetisation, economic downturn, multiple streams of income, and stay-at-home mothers (SAHMs), many mothers are seeking to generate more income for their households and create wealth that hopefully extends to their children and possibly their grandchildren,

The UK WFH fraud Ravaging Families
ultimately aiming for generational wealth. Perhaps people are out to take advantage of others, regardless of the situation, place, or circumstances.
If a stranger reaches out to you on WhatsApp, Telegram, Tiktok, Instagram, or Facebook, leaving you a message about an easy remote job, which sounds too good to be true,
from promoting movies and streaming content, you need to very much ignore this message. You need to simply block this individual, or if you know how to run virtually, then you’d better run.
There is a scam fast rising. The credit card scam seems to have encountered an obstacle, and they are shifting to a similar new one, that is targeting stay at home mums.
It is disturbing to know that these guys are constantly working to keep up with their scamming ways, and this fast-spread scam is sweeping through the UK,
especially among the desperate stay-at-home immigrants moms, who are looking to contribute to the family income, without actually leaving home, so they can do the child care, while working and contributing financially.
The Scam involves these guys, including girls, dangling quick cash for simple online tasks, which are always too simple to be that lucrative.
Because how do you justify making that much money from simply promoting a movie on a weird-looking website?

The one I saw a close friend experience was that she simply promoted the movie for like 5 minutes and made £35, and these people asked her to send £50, before she could withdraw the £35.

When this is done, they are making an extra £15 on top of the money they sent you, because you are sending £50 back to them, to make £35.

It is an obvious thing, but many people are willing to take financial risks these days. They make you review movie titles, liking short clips or even sharing the trailer links to a weird set of non-existent people.

The victims are shown a fake dashboard with earnings, but when they try to withdraw the money in excitement, they are told to pay an activation fee, or in some cases, an unlocking fee.

Like I said, the first person I heard this from even got the money withdrawn, and they asked her to send £50 across to them, to activate it. Once you make that payment, they just cut all communication.

Shockingly, the UK police are aware, and they have received surging reports on the issue, which is called a task-based job scam.
How The Scammers Operate
These guys randomly contact you out of the blue; they don’t have a certain set of targets, they don’t go for social media stars or celebrities, they just randomly reach out to you, making you feel special and giving you a sense of pride, making you feel worthy of their attention.

They are a big organisation, they send out a recruiter on social media, who gets people with the pitch. They are persistent when it comes to convincing the target.

No experience needed, the preferred location is at all, since everything is done online, on your phone or laptop. The moment you try it, you instantly get the money they talked about.

They are targeting job seekers, probably through the jobsite, and they tell you that you will be paid daily. they go for job seekers and non-job seekers too. You try it immediately and get the easy first win. The first win motivates the target or victim to remain interested.

Depending on how gullible the victim presents, they can go on to another stage, where they tell you to make another payment to go on to a higher stage, where they are promised more money, in the continued “pay to get paid” shenanigans, where you have to pay a higher activation fee.

Why Is It So Convincing?
The convincing nature of this scam was that they claimed affiliation with major platforms, which comes off as a good reason to believe them. The victims are excited to hear that, because it clears their doubt, and then they go from 0 to 100 in a matter of minutes.

They show you your dashboard, just like the affiliate agencies do, so it then checks out in the mind of the potential target. To put the final nail in the coffin, they make that initial deposit that’s very convincing. Victims even said the scammers are asking for Monzo Bank.

Everyone is a potential target, the young and the old, students, pensioners, parents, kids, workers, and the unemployed. They promise you a potential amount that you are guaranteed to earn in a day.

Conclusion
We all need to know this and stay ready out there. They are coming for everyone, and we all need to know the signs , and their operating style. That’s the message, something is out here.
