The fact that the UK openly asked people to come into it land, work for a whopping 5 years, pay taxes and stay away from the piblic funds, and be crime free.
Now with all of these agreement, the UK is now asking, without fear or favour, that the same immigrants, change from 5 years waiting time, to 10 or 15 years waiting time for ILR. So basically, the UK is claiming that the carers abused their routes by bringing in LEGALLY, their family members.
Now this was not done illegally, it was completely legal, through thr home office, not done for free, but individually paid for. How then do you reconcile the fact that these immigrants kept to their own part of the agreement, paying for these family members who by the way, were legally granted entry into the Country.
The UK didn’t so much as bat an eye, when they gave entry visas to these people, not stopping them from coming, not restricting their relatives, not even cautioning them. The UK loved the amount received, the monetary aspect receiver of this whole thing, was the UK. It benefitted from the fees paid, and then generated whopping sums of money from these processes, especially with those who had large family members to apply for.
The UK/home office didn’t say a word. They literally allowed everyone in, handing them visas, like O² arena, and just like they are doing to the illegal migrants.
I guess they too budThey loved the money they got from these excessive applications, that they were too addicted to stop them from happening.
Now they are coming in, half way through the immigrant carers (Workers visa) route, staying in the Uk and working towards their ILR, the UK is suddenly realising that they allowed too many people into theit country from 2022 to 2024.
How much more cunning can one get? These guys didn’t sneak into your country, they didn’t so much as defraud the country, they did evrrytthhing rigjt, and you did one thing, and that was to grant them entry into the country.
Statistics shows that within the same said window of time, thr UK generated revenue in billions, from the activities. So they literally had no problem with people coming into the country in drones, because they were too money conscious to have a say at the time when it was happening.
Despite having a clear record of the high number of individuals coming. Now that the money has come in, and have sat pretty in their account, they suddenly realised that too many people came into the country within that window of time.
It shows that it was their money that was the interest. So you hoped to take their money and dump their after two years, because they would have contributed their fair share of taxes to the country, without obstructing anything? Now they are expected to just continue the lifestyle for 10 to 15 years because you are forcing them to? Is nothing else considered fair, other than the monetary value of immigration?
These labour politicians, every last one of them, every single one of the UK politicians wouldn’t consider this fair if them or their loved ones were directly affected by this.
The Prime Minister is being made to be tougher on everything and everyone, because he said once, that he has a soft spot for carers and the job they do, because his sister is a carer.
Suddenly it didn’t matter what soft spot that was, because the reform party is getting more attention than labour, so labour goes right ahead to adopt their ideas, so they can get as much attention as the reform party. He is pressing down to carers and al that concerns them. But carers are humans too, working to contibute and survive in the cold and boring country they have come to work in.
It is locely to see that many have started to point out the complete lack of fairness in the dealings that labour party is considering for carers, the complete lack of fairness that the considerations mentioned, are showing. May God help the UK carers.
If processed or carried through with, the new rule for carers is nothing short of fraud. You took their money, in billions, gave them the impression that all is well and fair on this side of life, only to pull the rug under their fert a time like this. Who chooses to go for a 15 years of decpetion when the came in for 5? Talk about the absolute deception Laban served Jacob.
In the clear case of broken trust for the immigrant carers in the UK who have left home to come work and care for the evrr growing aging population of the united kingdom.
The Immigrant carers feel betrayed by this thought. The fact that they have choden to do thr jobs that the UK people themselves wouldn’t do, and they keep to the rules of the land, adopting culture and abiding by the rules, only to be constantly targeted by every sitting, every meeting, every plan to correct things, it is not ideal at all.
The rule betraying carers, is the 15 years ILR rule. It is a completely insensitive to the plight of the people at the receiving end. The consideration alone is sad for the carers, it is disheartening. In all of this, the importance of these people, these carers, have somehow been throw out the window. These people move around on a daily basis, helping the large aging population of the UK, to carry out their day to day activites that they have needs for, but have lost the ability to do.
The UK youths, the UK people will not even do these jobs, but they are trying to force people to stay in these jobs for more years than they ever can. So if a child born now, this year 2025, is about to see their parents get the Indefinite leave to remain, they have to actually be 15 years? Who sat down and carved out these new laws?
The importance of the immigrant carers to aged, unwell, and struggling population can not be over emphasised. If not all, most of the Labour party guys know a person of two, who are completely, I mean 100% reliant on carers.
You had these people come into the country with the promise of a 5 year deal, only to be told half way through, that they are no longer going to be given that, and that they are being punished for bring in their families. The glaring loneliness in the Uk is legendary. It is wildly known, it is in full force. If people are taking precaution before entering the country, by coming with a loved one, then you let them, only to deceitfully plan their purnishment, then it is horrible.
These people arrived hoping for a better lofe, working hard for 5 years to get indefinite leave to remain(ILR), but somehow, they are now being perceived as slaves, who should be treated just about any way the Labour Party pleases, then this same Country hopes to be seen as fair and just to the persecuted? You are persecuting the people living and working in your country
Now, with Labour’s proposed 15-year rule feels like a bait-and-switch.These carers Paid taxes, fees, and contributed to the economy, and worked jobs that are far beneath their qualification, far beneath their skills, often brought families (not “free riders”), who also paid fees and taxes.
