The Most Controlling Generation Of British Men, Revealed
Before we commence,I want you to realise that using the word ‘controlling’ in this context, is relative, because we might instantly think of it as a bad thing, as a negative thing.
The right way to look at it, is the generational teachings, the generational societal strata. For instance, modern British man believes that you are suppose to love a woman, but give her a huge space to be herself, from her style, to her lifestyle choices, and her career. The woman’s choices are recognised and upheld, the woman is hardly forced, maybe stylishly forced or coarsed, but no longer outrightly forced like they were in those days.
A British man of the modern day, believes that if you love a woman, love might not be good enough, love might not be strong enough for thr relationship. You have to ensure that lady is better than you met her, not just by making her a mother. You have to help her discover herself, she has to discover her dreams, and yoh help her achieve them.
But what if i told you that this is so, because tgese men were born into a generation where women were respected, given a voice, given a chance, and even an opportunity. But these men grew up, knowing that a woman’s place is not just at home, not just in the kitchen, not just in her husband’s bed, not just her matrimonial bedroom, not just for her children.
The society sets the tone for the way a woman is seen and heard. Never forget the impact the society has on anything. These modern men grew up knowing that you don’t try to control a woman, you do not try to push her about, and that the woman is not a property of her husband.
This is the ideology that these modern men walked into, some, from their point of birth, others grew up seeing women going to achieve things that their predeccessors were not allowed to achieve, so they achieved so much, with the opportunity.
This is not the case for the men who came from the generation of people who spray perfume on their bare skin. The generation of men we are talking about, are the omes who are alive and aged. The English men who are between the age range of 80-100 years.
These men were born into the generation where they were taught, they were told to own a woman, telling her what to do, ignoring her choices, ignoreing her career, and even making it known that a woman’s place is in the kitchen, in the room,
she is obligated to cater to her husband and kids, she is thought an utmost standard of hospitality. Women from that dame age grade, hardly have a say in anything, because their husbands are the ones who should know everything, and everyone.
These men pride themselves as the ideal men. The are very proud of the skills they have acquired through life, and they are not bluffing. This generation of men are the ones who ask their wives to stay home and raise thr kids, while they go out to provide for thr family.
These men are skillful, they do daily DIYs, they go from mechanical to electrical to cooking, to cleaning, home decor, you name them. This generation of men are not the one who dates a lady just so she can come and cook for him.
These men know something about everything, because they were born in the generation where a man’s abilith is gis source of pride, so any woman would be lucky to be with them. The know alot of things that they hardly ever take advice and opinions from people, especially women.
That generation is all about people being hardworking in the various fields they have been assigned. That is why they hsve assigned the women to the home, rolm and kitchen. In that generation, if a woman could not cook, it was very weird, because you only had to lewrn to cook, bake, clean, look after you man and raise kids. So how dare you not know how to cook? Everyone knew their lane, women could only contribute their opinions to food, kids, care, and love.
Anything else was only valid if it came from a man. No one would want to take a serious political advice from a woman, talk more of appointing her a role in politics. So when these men got home, they knew the topic that their wives could be involved in, and what was never her business.
That generation of men felt fulfilled when they knew everything about their wives. The are so knowledgeable and self aware, that you could hardly convince them otherwise.
They are so confident in their abilities as men from that generation, and they beleiev that they can do everyhing their wives can do, maybe except having babies, but these men are very much aware of what they know.
When they are away from their wives, they always give away very succinct details of her, as if she is an underage child. These women have lived their lives with these men from their generation, lived for decades with these, that they decide to sometimes sray quiet, and let peace reign in their home, rather than continue to argue with their ever knowin husbands.
Over the years, these men have managed to condition the mind of these woman, making them know that they are not so smart to taje any decision without them, the husbands, in their life. So these woman are neither dump nor weak, instead, they have developed a good way to ignore or do things just the way the husbands want, so they can have some peace.
These men go as far as they are required to, to make sure that they get what they want. They make their wives understand that she is not to contest their decisions, their opinions are not to be questioned, or any alternatives are expected from their wives.
Remember that these men have seen/witnessed war, so they can not be told anything, told what to do, told what is best for them. They have seen it all, they have seen too much. They do not bluff, they do alot of telling, okay maybe they tell alot of stories, maybe they exaggerate things and tell one story too many times, but half the time, they do not lie.
They are the generation that doe not mind being alone an idea, while everyone else is on the other side, because they believe very much in what they know and not what they are told, and that is the source of doom or success,
because if their ifea turns out to be right, they are considered intelligent, and when the idea fails, they confidently take their ‘L’. This generation can stay home when forgotten at home, they will cook, clean, plant, bake, fix things around the house, and make it look easy, while at it.
CONCLUSION
These guys are are in denial that they are getting old, and that they are not as strong as they used to be. They can literally service a home up to standard, even when they appear old. As old as they are, they consider it an insult to have a maintenance man come into their home to fix anything. They prefer fixing and maintaining anything around the house all by themselves.
These men think they know everything, maybe not everything, but they do know alot of things, and that could be the source of their confidence. They definitely do know alot of things, from builidng, working, business, cooking, cleaning, caring and many more.
