London hospital charged Buhari £3000 per night- Sowore

Following the passing of the former president of Nigeria, many are reacting and alleging things, and one of those allegations, is that the former president was incurring a £3000 per night, at the London’s biggest private hospital. Not many people, more than half the British folks themselves can afford the London hospital, due to the high price for it.
The people who benefit from the country’s treasure, are the leaders, the same people who have promised to change the situation of the people , which was the main reason why theh were vote in, in the first place. But when they get to the office, it is almost as if something else, some entity, some force, takes over them, and changes everything that has been planned, so they stay away from the people who voted them, and pick up new set of friends.

While some videos could be seen circulating all around social media, where the buhari family were members, like kids and wife, were seen coming out and going back into the hospital, suspectedly after the tragic passing. People are wondering who made the video, while being there at the right time, because the famiy were in a coordinated form, crying when seen in some videos, and straight faced in the others videos.

While we are not quiet sure what was charged at this London’s biggest private health facility, but many know that it doesn’t come cheap, not for the foreigners, and definitely not the citizens.

But Sowore however, came in , to fill the gap, saying the London hospital where former president Muhammadu Buhari was being treated up until his death, charged £3000 per night, but so far, no evidence to back that up and he didnt revealed how he came about that price.
Controversy Surrounds Claim of £3000 Nightly Hospital Bill for Buhari
As much as Nigerians in their anger would want to easily believe that claim from Sowore, because a hand full of them are upset with Buhari and his choices during his regime, it oulf have been much legitimate, if the claim was backed by an evidence.

Activist and politician, Omoyele Sowore has sparked debate and raised questions about the medical expenses of former President Muhammadu Buhari and other former political leaders of Nigeria,

for example, Abdulsalami Abubakar revealed he was admitted to the same hospital for his underlying heslth issues, but the immediate past president was being treated privately in this hospital for long until his death. Sowore provided no backing evidence to his claim.
Lack of Transparency Raises Questions
In all honesty, many Nigerians didn’t even know that Buhari had a terminal illness, he appeared ill in public, but the actual issue was concealed from Nigerians. The reason we all know what was going on, was because he passed.

While many people say the real Buhari was long dead in 2017, and this was just the body double taking his exit. The family or officials didn’t reveal the situation of things until he passed.

So Nigerians came up with what they could find, and Sowore stepped in to provide information to Nigerians in the absence of a first hand information , and you don’t blame people for providing information yo the general public in the absence of the information that should have been made available for everyone.

The family signed up and knew he was a public figure, but they chose to conceal vital information to the public after reaping the benefit of being a public figure.

The absence of clear information about Buhari’s medical expenses has led to speculation, which forced people to dig deep. Many Nigerians are calling for more details about the former president’s treatment and the associated costs, so they dont carry on with a false narrative about the medical expenses.

Implications of the privacy
As a public figure, Buhari’s medical expenses were likely funded by the Nigerian government, making it a matter of public interest.

Since the tax payers money was used for this, or the oil money was used in this case, Nigerians are entitled.

But in a place like Nigeria, where the leaders act with great impunity due to the money and power, they won’t let you know anything about them, their private life, and public funds management.

The Former Presidency aspirant Peter Obi finally visited the family and friends of the late Muhammad Buhari, after the northerners on social media noticed the politicians who were absent at the funeral of the former president., as seen in the pictures below.

Conclusion
The claim made by Sowore about the £3000 nightly hospital bill for Buhari’s treatment in London remains unverified.

While it’s essential to scrutinize government spending and ensure transparency to the public, which they have sworn to serve, it’s equally important to rely on credible sources and official information. So, in the absence of the truth, people come up with whatever they can find.
