At 76, Ozzy Osbourne dies right after his final performance
Aston, Birmingham born, John Michael “Ozzy” Osbourne, on December 3, 1948, is a dare devil singer and songwriter, who has enjoyed the dividends of fame and fortune, and peck that was happily passed down to his children.
Ozzy, the heartthrob of the ever vibrant burgundy head Sharon Arden, who became an Osbourne in 1982, a name that fits her like a second skin.
She has played the role of a wife and matriarch of the Osbourne home, so much so, that they make marriage look easy to the ordinary eyes.
She beautified Ozzy’s life with their beautiful three children, Aimee, Kelly and Jack. Throughout his battle with various obstacles in life Ozzy has proven to count on the purity and solace of family.
His daughter Kelly has over the years, revealed just how proud of her father’s legacy she is, how much he had achieved and just how much she looked upto him.
Ozzy has on multiple accounts, credited his family as his source of strength, which has helped him navigate life.
It was no hard to connect the dot on how family oriented Ozzy was, he has countless pictures of himself with his kids over the years, from his very young fatherhood days, to his much advanced fatherhood days.
Ozzy has battled his fair share of life’s twists and turns, he has his experimental days, which reflected on substance abuse, depression, and various physical activities.
He was involved in near death accident in an ATV, that left him severely injured, which almost didn’t see a recovery, but a management that teamed up with the rest of underlying health issues that came with age.
In 2020 the star revealed he has been diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease, which affected his movement, balance and coordination from then onwards.
Despite all of this, he continued to live his best life, showing up and engaging with fans. He has enjoyed the support of his family since his diagnosis.
He even revealed that he would have left everything they way were, rather than undergoing the back surgery, which didn’t improve anything as medically predicted.
He revealed that not the medical team snd their predictions kept him alive, but the love from is wife Sharon, has kept him going all these years, as the rough choices and dark life events took him through some extreme stages of life, with the children also speaking of his diagnosis in public, when asked.
On July 5th he had his ast stage performance, revealed that his wasn’t doing well, and that he was dying, because his Parkinson’s has reached stage 5, he said his good bye to the stage which he loved, apparently, that was also his farewell to the world, because he died on July 22, 2025.
He apologised that he could only do these shows strapped into a customer chair, because his body couldn’t handle it anymore. He then revealed in all honesty, that he wasn’t doing well.
He revealed that he spent long time preparing for the concert, he was afraid that he wasn’t going to finish it, afraid that he didn’t want to let them down.
He revealed that to stay sharp, he stopped taking his painkillers, he chose pain over numbness, so he could sing one last time, as music has always been his painkiller. Every dollar he made, went to Parkinson’s research for people who are battling with Parkinson’s like him.
He attributed his wins to his wife, Sharon, who hasn’t left his side through it all. She held his hand until he found his way back to the spot light.
He thanked his fans, who laughs and cheers gave him the strength to keep coming back, even when it hurt more eachtime.
Osbourne along side his band members, the original black Sabbath, Tony Lommi, Geezer Buter,and Bill Ward, stood on stage together in Birmingham for th first time in 20 years, as they performed on July 5th at Villa Park.
Many are saying that he would have stayed little while, if he didnt get dragged into this show, but ozzy himself, said he would let go of anything in the world just to get one chance to perform on stage again.
In life we must choose what we will either live for, or die for. He choose it, and now we have the result of the stress on his already tired body, but he died happy. He was able to say good bye tk his fans and former band members, his life was alot happier. RIP Ozzy.
ON 22nd July, his family made an announcement on his passing : ” it is with more sadness that mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning. He was with his family and surrounded by love. We ask everyone to respect our family privacy at this time” Sharon Jack, Kelly, Aimee and Louis.
