The Shocking Under reporting of the British Christians
It is not a surprise that this is coming up now, and it is not even a new thing, maybe it is an appropriate time to talk about it, since the head of England is reinstating the faith of England by prayer with the Pope. This is significant in history, because the king just had the first prayer with the pope in the last 500 years. This hasn’t hapened in 5 centuries.
Two years ago, an announcement came from a certain statistics, that for the first time in for ever, Christianity is not the highest religion in London.
This didn’t come as a surprise for many, since London has become the mixing pot of various ethnicity and religion. Many immigrant coming in from different backgrounds. This means that Christuanity stayed as the top religion in London, until so many people from other religions came into the city.

While it is not exactly impossible for these people to overwhelm the core christians, since they are many, while the people there are fewer, many people tried to come up with the reason why this would have happened, and the explanation was that the British people shy away from confrontation, and this culture surfaces in every aspect of their existence.
They would rather do all that they have to do and say, mostly against a person, behind their backs, than to their faces. It makes it hard to know when they are displeased with you, or have an issue with your choices.

The point here is that the British people do not like to be expressive, when they think is would visibly discomfort the people around them, so they play alot with sacarsm.
It is true that more and more British Christians are choosing to drop their identity as Christians, so they don’t make their new friends and neighbours uncomfortable, since they ae not christians.
But you have to know the kind of weak religious background a person has to have, to deny theit identity and pick up another one, just to make friends and impress people. What justifies a choice like this? You look at the generation before them. Whatever you take lightly, your next generation woukd take lightly, and whatever you take seriously would be taken seriously by your children and their children.
So if the current young generqtion of the British people do not take their chritian background seriously, then we have no option than to trace back to two generations, and blame them for the choices they made.

They believe that identifying as Christians somehow means that you are a part of the past, present or future evil committed in the church, so they would rather stop being Christians, because this is their understanding of being better, snd doing better.
But you can still restore the faith by simply being a good Christian, and not throw away the baby and the bath water, because you have neither been taught right nor better . So they think to be a good person, you haven’t to stay away from religion.
Rather than showing the christ like way of life, they admire the religion of those whose predecessors have taught to hold on to their religion no matter what.
You admire their love and seriousness for their religion, and suddenly, the British kids, who once said religion is not a good thing, will pick up a foreign religion because the seriousness of its practicing people, is contagious and attractive. But who do we blame for this? The older british generation.
They are to blame for it all. Individuals commit evil, and not everyone allows their religion to chnage their evil hearts and mind, based on various factors. So when they commit some attrocities, rather than blame the individuals alone, their religion will unfortunately be dragged into the mess, for various reasons.
But this same people who choose to dissociate from the religion of their forefathers, will themselves, commit evil to people at work, in school and even in their homes, but they never stop being in those places, and identifying with those people.
But whenever it involves the church, thy make a hasty, swift decision to simply stop identifying as a Christian. The double edged sword, the two faced syndrome, and the hypocrisy in this case needs to be studied.
They tone down their religion, down play their faith, to make others feel included, to make others feel comfortable around them, to drive away awkwardness, which they imagined.
They are doing this with people whose ancestors have been taught to be proud and bold to identify with their religion at any point in time. The train them so well that they would rather die, than deny their religion. They are mandated to draw more people into the religion in anyway possible, through friendship, love and even marriage.
It is a life style for them, it is serious matyer to them, because the previous generation instilled that in them, and enforced the rules. They make them more and more confrontational, strategical and tactically planned out, and trun them into religious fanatics, either before they arrive, or while they are here, some legally, others illegally.
These guys will uphold their religion so high for everyone to see. But guess what the British kids are doing on the other side of life? They dissociate from the religion their forefathers have held on to with so much pride and confidence.
Despite the offences of the British ancestors, the younger generations still identify and uphold their background and root. So if you can still identify with your ancestors despite all they did, long before you were born , how are you cutting off their religion, which also a part of their religion? Make that make sense?
I have come across some people who choose their religion based on the people around them. When they are with families, then the are Christians, but when they are with their Jewish, satan worshippers, buddist or Muslim, then they are Atheist.
A clear example of ‘when you stand for nothing, you fall for everything’. How are you denying your religion to make someone comfortable? But you teach your kids of be proud of their identity? How does that define friendship?
Dimming your light so others can shine? All the lights can flipping shine together. On the other hand, the person you are changing to impress, is trying to get you to leave your background, your life, your religion, your root, to accept theirs and come into it.
The question is, did these people succeed? Absolutely. The rate at which beautifil and historic church buildings are sold, or converted to something else in the Uk, is alarming.
For the first time, Christianity is not the highest religion in London. This was 2 years ago though, but guess what has happened since that report?
Between that time of that report and now, the UK has recorded a record breaking spike in people identifying as Christians, people going back to their region. Can you guess what caused this? What initiated this? What brought about this?
So many people are becoming catholics, and this was said to have been as a result of the series of Vertican activities in the last year, from the former pope falling ill, feeling polly and passing away, and the new one being elected and announced. Alot has happened in the lives of many so called Atheist.
The televised process of the death, burial, and re-election of the pope, created a shift, just because the seriousness with which all of these were done by Rome and the Catholics, was top notch. They showed the seriousness that the British youths needed, and it was immediately embraced by thousands. The catholic church recorded a record breaking number of converts.
This has created a conviction, a push, a swift, a nudge, whatever you may call it, on those who were sitting on the fence when it came to their religion, as Christians. The confidence, the boldness and the beauty that was portrayed in the entire vertican Catholic process was super contagious. I guess they needed a role model to show the beauty of Christianity, and the vertican played a big role so well.
This is because the spike of Christianity between when the former pope died, and was buried, and then a new one elected, has skyrocketed the number of British people boldly, and wholeheartedly identifying as Christians.
The new era seems to have started ever since a certain statistics declared thag for the first time in forever, Christianity was the top region of London. Whatever Christian revival going on to remind the existing british generation that they need to reconnect witg christ, is applaudable.
Christians are immigrating into Britain, and other religions are too. What the British people need to realise is that, there are many ways to make people feel included, accepted, and friendly around you, without having to deny your religion.
The case was sealed with the king England, King Charles, having the first prayer in 500 years, with the pope. While this was done beautifully by the parties involved, no one is categorically sure that this is indeed an intentional act to remind the people of their true religion, which is Christianity.
Conclusion
To say that the UK is now being taken over by other religions, it just might be a good play of exaggeration. And for those who think the catholic society were being too much, you have no idea how God works, so chill. The beauty of the Christian faith is not tied to the unGodly acts of a few bad apples.
Your religion us not between you, your friends and family, it is betwren you and God. Don’t make anyone your religious role model, it should be about the God you believe in, and the love and respect you have for his creation. Let’s also give kudos to the kingn who chose to publicly identify with the catholic faith after 5 centuries. God works in mysterious ways.
