It is summer, after months of the gloomy cold weather, a British man, wheelchair bound, decided tk it the streets of Thailand, to get the freaky of the year, not considering his safety and the transparency of his new friends from the street.
60-year-old Chris John Glennon embarked on his summer vibe and he needed to do everything intensely.
The British tourist in Thailand, solicited the services of three unreliable prostitutes, and took them all back to his hotel room, not bothered that he was disabled, outnumbered, and in a hotel.
He took the service deliverers back to his hotel room, and kept his fingers crossed that they were reliable.
His hope in humanity crashed, after the two Thai women, and their transgender counterpart, went out of character to steal his money and disappeared into thin air,while he in the shower getting cleaned for his service.
According to LindaIkejiblog, the Northampton local handpicked these working trio from the beachfront road, where he had been earlier, in the famously unsettling neighbourhood in Pattaya,
before they all head for his hotel accommodation in Basaya Beach hotel and resort. If we are being fair, he has esy trust in random people, total strangers.
He probably had a very careful life, lived his best safe life, but ended up in an unfair position, so is intentionally being carefree. But look where this still brought him. Life is beautiful.
After he excused himself to go take a shower, his three prostitutes, who were said to be between 25-30 years, who waited in the lounge for his return,
had more than enough time to ditch the service the were contracted for, and picked up another mission, stole from him and absconded. Leaving wheelchair bound, wet from the shower, high and dry.
Typically, it takes much time to get yourself cleaned, and even more time is needed for a wheelchair bound man. After realising the deed that has been done.
He then wheeled himself to the reception to report the absolute betrayal these three strangers have done to him.
According to the staff, they were stunned to even hear that a disabled man was bold enough to get three strangers to his room, in the name of contracted intercourse.
The staff helped file a complaint at the Pattaya City Police Station at 12:16am on Wednesday. He reportedly lost 6,000 Baht (£140), to the sex workers who he hired.
He reportedly had £140 which was the payment for the prostitutes. He was cautious of their capabilities, and took some safety measures by keeping the rest of his money away, and only having the exact amount they needed for the services of the prostitutes.
The had taken his £150 in British notes, which had intended to exchange for the Thai currency.
The Police were quick to identify the perpetrators / suspects, as a Thai woman Chantakarn Donlueam and the transgender prostitute Ekkarat Marknok, because they left their IDs at check-in.
The third person however, did not show or leave their ID cards at the reception, so it wasn’t that easy to identify the person in an instance, so they have to be tracked down, and identified.
The Pattaya City Police Station’s Captain Anirut Jehrah said : “We have recorded the information on the daily log as evidence and dispatched investigators to collect footage from security cameras,
and we obtained crucial evidence of the ID card photocopies, which the suspects gave to the hotel receptionist on arrival, before proceeding to the victim’s room, and we are now pursuing them for prosecution.”
The Basaya Beach hotel and resort, where one night cost 1,000 Baht (£23) a night, revealed that Chris was a regular face in their establishment.
He felt understood in this hotel over the years, after the staff took their time to understand him and his way of expression, made it easy for him to be safe in their establishment, this was because he had a speech disability, he had to use his phone to communicate with the employees.
Conclusion
Mr Chris was a man of great prospect, and trust. It is rather awakening that he had to be reminded of the danger of trusting random prostitutes in a different country. We are not sure if any lesson was learnt, but he sure feels the other side of betrayal.
